2007 Year End Survey | George Wilson of Dirty on Purpose

Next month, ethereal space rockers Dirty on Purpose will release the follow-up to their killer 2006 LP Hallelujah Sirens. The EP is titled Like Bees and will hit the streets on January 15. However you can listen to three of the five tracks on their myspace page. I highly recommend "Audience in the Room". Hell, the entire disc is good.

In the days between the end of their tour with Fujiya & Miyagi and the release of Like Bees, guitarist George Wilson, who hails from Chester, VT, took some time to send over his faves of 2007.

1) What was your favorite song of 2007?

Xiu Xiu – "I Luv The Valley OH!" It's not from this year but I listened to it a lot this year.

2) What was your favorite album of 2007?

Cheeseburger – Cheeseburger.

3) What was your favorite concert of 2007?

JEFF at Death By Audio over the summer.

4) What was your favorite thing about 2007?

Staying at home.

5) What are your best wishes for 2008?

Take'er ease! That's Canadian for "Take it easy." I learned that from the Besnard Lakes.
