The Capstan Shafts + SwedePop = Nice

According to the "fan run" yet highly informative myspace site for The Capstan Shafts, Dean Wells has written a song for the Gothenburg indie pop band The Faintest Ideas. The song is called "Lose the Downside" and sounds like a classic Capstan Shafts' tune. Immediately infectious; literary, melancholy and mysterious lyrics; and it clocks in at a little over a minute.

Yep. Sounds like a CS song to me.

The song is from The Faintest Ideas' album What Goes Up Must Calm Down which is available on emusic. If you like SwedePop, be sure to give The Faintest Ideas a listen. They have a few songs on their myspace page that are catchy garage pop numbers.
