2007 Year End Survey | The Jazz Guys

Since Eva just tapped The Jazz Guys for her song of the year, I thought it would be a good time to spring their response to the survey on the snowy masses of Vermont.

If you haven't heard it yet, The Jazz Guys recently completed and released a new eight-song EP called So Moped Pureé. It's less power pop than their 2006 release A Blessing in Disguise but if you are a fan of The Kinks, you'll love the sound of this prog pop disc. The sweet thing is that they've made the entire album available for free on their site. Plus, you can grab their earlier works there too. There's all your Christmas shopping right there. Done.

You'll also notice that The Jazz Guys have revamped their website. The hot new feature? A comic about them. Nice. Let's hope that strip is updated regularly.

Lastly, bassist, Herb van der Poll, has a fine blog called Transistor Blast that you should check out.

Newjack by Justice. However the song I listened to the most in 2007 was not from 2007. It was by Billy Nicholls off of Would You Believe. My favorite tune was, "Would you Believe"

Justice by Justice. However, Would You Believe was most-listened-to in 2007.

3) What was your favorite concert of 2007?

Justice in Montreal at the Metropolis.

4) What was your favorite thing about 2007?

Writing 14 new songs with the Jazz Guys and going to Europe with Maarten.

5) What are your best wishes for 2008?

I can only wish people good health and happiness. The rest is up to them.
