Who books the shows for Langdon Street Cafe? Ed DuFresne
Who puts together the Northeast Kingdom Music Festival every year? Ed DuFresne
Who brought Gogol Bordello to Montpelier? Ed DuFresne
Few people realize the impact that Ed DuFresne of Edified Presents has on the Central Vermont music scene. However, he's the guy who, with both a love of music and great organizational skills, keeps the local music scene running.
Plus, he does all of that without thrusting himself into the limelight in anyway. In fact, it was so hard to find a photo of the guy online that I had to use a screen shot from Eva Sollberger's Stuck in Vermont video about the Gogol Bordello show.
