Another Great Chelsea Goal

Last week, I posted two soccer videos. One was Michael Essien's late bomb that gave Chelsea the win and the other video was of a long, long goal by Portsmouth's Matt Taylor that beat Everton's (and top US) goalkeeper Tim Howard.

Well, something weird happened this week that looks like a combination of the two videos. On Sunday, Chelsea won again in the 87th minute on another amazing goal from about 35 yards out. And the victimized keeper? Tim Howard. Ouch. Rough week for Timmy.

the best part is that celebratory slide right into the camera lense.

Yeh. I cringe everytime I see a player do that. My knees crack and pop like bubble wrapping when I just sit down. The idea of sliding like that is crazy.

It also shows how slick, manicured and low-cut those English fields are.

The other thing about the celebration that grabbed my eye was the fact that Drogba was hugged by Ballack and Schevchenko (sp?). It's almost unfair to have that much talent on one squad.

As long as they pass Manchester, I'll be happy.
