Montpelier Art Walk

If you feel like picking up some local pieces of artwork for Christmas, start wandering around Montpelier on Friday from 4pm-8pm. You're bound to run into something you like.

There are 19 galleries, shops and restaurants participating in this year's Montpelier Art Walk. While you can just cruise around town checking out the art, the obvious goal is to sell some and support local artists. Nothing wrong with that. I'd much rather get a piece of art for Christmas than the annual out-of-style button down shirt from my folks.

By the way, some of the restaurants in town are having dinner specials for the art walk also; in case you want to make a night of it.
