Whether you want to admit or not, 2006 is almost dust. The end. That means we are into the season of asking your friends what their favorite albums of the year were.
Well, with that in mind, we decided to borrow a fun idea from extrawack sent questions to various artists in the NYC area asking them what their favorite songs, albums and concerts were. With permission from b.f. at . Last year, extrawackextrawack, we decided to do the same thing with local musicians, artists, authors, personalities, etc. up here.
We've been pestering folks in the area with emails for about two weeks now and have received a good response. So, every day or so, we are going to post a different response. Hopefully, by the end of the month, we'll have a nice tapestry of what people in the area enjoyed this year.

I tried to find a graphic on the web saying "Best of 2006" but after twenty minutes, I gave up. This one isn't pretty but it was quick.
