Cold War Kids on Letterman

If you follow this blog you'll notice two shows vying for your concert dollars on March 31st. There's the Cold War Kids and Tokyo Police Club at Pearl Street in Northampton, MA VS Bishop Allen and Say Hi to Your Mom at Bennington College. Just in case you were leaning towards the prolific Bishop Allen (which no doubt would be a great show), here's CWK busting the "lame-o late night TV performance curse" with Hang Me Up To Dry on Late Night with David Letterman (December 20th). If they can have this much energy on TV, makes me interested in checking them live.

Ahhh the same night. I'm dying to see Bishop Allen but Cold War Kids and Tokyo Police Club is one heck of a bill. Which way are you leaning? I'm telling myself surly Bishop Allen play around here quite a bit.

That's the way I se it too. One band vs two bands and Bishop Allen tours a lot so there may be other opportunities. Plus, I can't stop listening to that Tokyo Police Club album. They may only have twenty minutes of music but that's a fun twenty minutes.
