Since some readers of this virtual rag aren't familiar with the US team, I thought I'd pull together a few videos introducing the players and their heroics.

Also, since the regular media doesn't give much attention to the team, US Soccer has set up their own production studio to create programming about the team. It's called Studio 90. Click on the "Lauch" circle to watch interviews, training highlights, behind the scenes crap, etc. It just started today but if it remains this good, it'll be a daily stop on the web for me.
Two other notes:
- extrawack! has a bunch of videos and mp3 files available of different countries' World Cup theme songs. That damn England song got stuck in my head while listening to the World Soccer Daily Podcast.
- Young US goalkeeper, Quentin Westberg, isn't a part of the national team right now but he does play professionally in France despite only being 20 years old. The site Yanks Abroad solicited questions from fans for an interview with the kid and my question wound up being asked.

I listen to a lot of music in general. Everywhere - in my car, at home, even in the locker room, where I'm in charge - especially on game days. I enjoy mostly rap and R&B, but also anything that's sung with acoustic guitar.
I go from Nelly, R. Kelly and Wyclef Jean to James Blunt, Ben Harper and then also a lot of old school like Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye and not that old like Tracy Chapman. I'm always on internet trying to see who's coming out with new records because everything American comes out late in France.

i watched that studio 90 a bit yesterday and the part with cherondulo was classic. he had some pretty blunt comments about germany and german people.
I was kind of surprised they left those comments in there. I imagine the last thing the team needs is a bunch of angry German journalists asking him follow-up questions about his view of Germans. Thankfully, nobody in Germany seems to pay attention to the US Soccer website.
