Green Mountain Film Festival | Looking for Volunteers

The 2007 Green Mountain Film Festival is still over three months away but they are looking for volunteers now. So, if you have some free time on your hands, like supporting the festival and are into bondage then you should contact the Green Mountain Film Festival at 229-0598 or send them an email at savoy@sover.net.

OK. The bondage thing was just to see if you were paying attention. I don't know exactly what positions they are looking for help with but figure it'll involve manning the ticket office, cleaning up after the movies, etc.

By the way, if you can't wait for the 2007 festival, The Savoy Theater is currently running their "Can't Wait 'Til March" film series. Each Saturday & Sunday, they are showing festival-quality films at 4pm at the Savoy. You can see the schedule for the remaining weekends of the series here.

On a related film festival note, the 4th Annual Stowe Mountain Film Festival started this past weekend and runs through December. The films at the festival generally focus on those crazy-ass skiing/snowboarding films where you are certain the half-stoned trust-fund-loving skier is going to die as they ski down some 90 degree vertical face with an avalanche chasing them. But they always seem to pop up in the next reel.

Ha! I wrote that sentence and then went to YouTube to pull up a trailer of one of the festival's films. I swear...here is the very first trailer I searched for. It fits my description to a tee.
