On Wednesday night, at Nectar's, Burlington bluegrass band, PossumHaw will be having the CD release party for their second LP, Madtom. I haven't heard the album yet but I loved the sweet beauty of their debut album, split-rail. The backbone of their sound is the gorgeous voice of Colby Crehan and, based upon the one track I've heard from the new album, her voice is still in good shape and front and centered on the record.

So, if you're looking for some picking on Wednesday night, swing by Nectar's.
