Stephen Duffy was actually one of the founding members of Duran Duran. However, unfortunately, for him, he decided to leave the band after one year to pursue a solo career.Bad choice. Rather than selling millions of records and living in the lap of rock stardom, he's toiled away the last twenty years in various alternative bands such as Tin Tin and The Lilac Time.
However, as a music fan, I'll gladly take his beautiful folk ballad "So Far Away" over the entire cache of Duran Duran hits. It came out in 2003 as a fine farewell to the 20th century.
Meanwhile, Duran Duran just sold another 300 albums during the time it took you to read this post.
