For a small town (Montpelier has 8,000 residents and there are about another 30,000 in the surrounding towns), the outpouring of kindness has been impressive. I don't know how many trucks have been filled but it's more than I ever thought Montpelier could generate. Hopefully, it'll make the next few weeks for the victims slightly more bearable.
