It's gone. The Langdon Street Bridge was taken down last week and will be replaced with a new one in a month or so. The bridge had been there since shortly after the 1927 flood. I believe they are going to refurbish the old metal trusses and place them on the new bridge but they'll only be decorative. Hopefully, it'll look similar to the old bridge.I feel bad for the owners of Global Gifts. You can just barely see their sign in the upper left hand corner of the picture. Those kind of stores rely heavily on the foliage tourists but when you are located on the edge of a construction zone and a temporary dead end, you're screwed. Little old biddies from England aren't going to trek down Langdon Street into that rubble to buy some knick-knacks.
